Nike’s absolutely having a jam-packed month of May, with big name releases like Tom Sachs’ Mars Yard Overshoe, Fear of God’s Nike Air 180 and Moccasins, and even long-term collaborator CLOT’s Air Max Haven that will all be released in limited drops from now till 17 May 2019 at DSMS. But of course, if there’s one must-have sneaker to get this month, it would be none other than the coveted Nike x Sacai LDWaffle that will be officially launched a week from now, on 16 May.

The Green Multi and Blue Multi pairs first made their debut on the Sacai’s Spring-Summer 2019 runway in Paris, and the fashion world (along with sneaker heads and Nike fan boys) went completely nuts over them. It features unique elements like the double swooshes, overlapping shoe tongue, as well as an elongated midsole that creates an effect of two sneakers being fused together for a cool avant-garde effect.

And although they were pre-released in limited quantities back in March (with resale prices peaking at a shocking USD1550 on sites like StockX), the official release date has been delayed multiple times ever since. Until now. Nike and Sacai have finally announced their arrival, and you will be able to try your luck over at Dover Street Market Singapore, where a raffle will begin on 13 May at 5 pm for 24 hours, ending on 14 May at 5 pm sharp. Just head over to this link and enter your details when the page is updated on Monday. Alternatively, you can keep your eye out at DSMS E-Flash, where a select number of pairs will be up for sale online on 16 May, with sizes ranging from US5 up to US12.
