Longchamp LGP Collection

Longchamp may be famed for its signature Le Pliage line of bags along with well-made leather goods and accessories, but the Parisian brand has also branched off into RTW in the last decade, each season bigger and better than before. For Fall-Winter 2019, the brand steered into a different direction, which was a contemporary, youthful and a refreshing change for the storied house. Not only is it Longchamp’s second NYFW show, it also has that definitive edge, brought to life by an all-new LGP logo font that’s inspired by the streets (the gridlines, the block-like arrangement) of New York City.

While Fall-Winter 2019 pieces typically do not arrive in stores till July (you’ve got to wait a tad bit longer to see the LGP RTW in all its full glory), the leather goods from the eye-catching LGP range will be available early May, split between Le Pliage LGP and Le Pliage Cuir LGP lines. The former features the monogram printed all over, seen on some of the brand’s signature designs such as the Top Handle Bag (SGD350) and the Zipped Pouch (SGD190), with sufficient options for him and her.

The leather Cuir range on the other hand, is slightly different. You will find the LGP monogram appliquéd onto the buttery soft leather, giving the Backpack (SGD930) and Top Handle Bag (SGD1200) an elevated pop (in terms of looks and texture) on the exterior. An all-new bag design joins the family as well, simply known as the Tote Bag (SGD930), a vertical leather silhouette that’s perfect for carrying all your A4 documents stylishly to and from work, with extra long handles for an alternative way of carrying over the shoulder.

The entire collection predominantly revolves around a black, red and white colour palate, with bits of neon detailing for a cool touch. Prices start from as low as SGD125, and the collection will be available across all Longchamp boutiques from 14 May 2019. #happyshopping
