Gentle Monster is famed for its avant-garde sunglasses loved by street-style folks and luxury lovers alike, while Fendi has always been known for its playful and witty approach to the world of luxury fashion. The duo have joined forces to create two new designs that’s the perfect embodiment of innovation and craftsmanship, with a youthful vibe and aesthetic that will appeal to either gender.

The first design, GENTLE FENDI No.1 (SGD615) comes with a metal and acetate frame that features angular lenses furnished with the words GENTLE and FENDI on either side. The cool ‘cat eye’ design comes in 3 colour options like Black and Blue that’s contrasted with yellow and orange detailing respectively, along with a third design that features a tortoiseshell acetate frame with pink lenses and green logos at the edges.

The second, GENTLE FENDI No.2 (SGD565), may look like a typical aviator style from afar, but the details and finishing are apparent when viewed up close. Another point worth noting is that No.2 manages to stay pretty lightweight despite its solid metallic frame, available in Khaki, Orange or Yellow (in reference to the coloured brow bar in the middle) that’s paired with pink, silver or black frames (and lenses) respectively.

In Singapore, you will be able to find a custom rotating installation that features life-like mannequins wearing the GENTLE FENDI sunglasses over at the Gentle Monster and Fendi boutiques in Marina Bay Sands, where pieces will also be available for sale from May 2019.
