Not to be confused with their atypical ‘clutch on chain’, Chanel’s Wallet On Chain (or WOC, for short) is truly a godsend for women who want everything organised properly and at arm’s length in an instant. Unlike regular clutches that only come with a single roomy compartment on the inside, a WOC will come with that and more. For starters, you’ll find at least 6 credit card slots on the side of the interior, along with a zip compartment that’s good for say, loose change and receipts. Some will also come with an additional flap pocket that will suit most paper notes, especially if you just bring a little for those occasions where cash is really needed.

Measuring an average of 19 cm across by 12 cm in height, Chanel has many variations of WOCs on offer, from the quilted lambskin ones (shown above) that cost SGD4230 to the Boy Chanel ones (around SGD3800 and up), and even the ones that come with the French luxury house’s iconic camellia pattern (from SGD3300 and up).

Available in a large enough array of colours and materials (there’s usually Caviar leather, lambskin, novelties like woven straw, to exotic skins on offer anytime you walk in), this is the bag that allows you to wear it like a handbag but actually is a wallet. Or a wallet that’s also a handbag. You know what I mean.
