Louis Vuitton: The Eclipse Just Got Cooler With The Split

You’ve seen most everything Monogram Outdoors over in the previous post, but what about the other key print spotted at Louis Vuitton’s Spring-Summer 2018 show? Named Monogram Eclipse Split, this one’s literally a mix of the coveted Monogram Eclipse and its polar opposite rendered in white. The two textiles come together and are joined at the very centre, giving rise to the split in Monogram Eclipse Split.

A strikingly contrasting collection that comprises a wide range of items from simple accessories and SLGs, right up to the bigger bags that you can use every other day, here are but a few pieces from the collection for your perusal. Starting with the accessories, the Monogram Eclipse Split Bag Charm (SGD455) comes in a perfectly round circle with an extra bright gold ring for keys and such. The Pocket Organiser in Monogram Eclipse Split (SGD530), on the other hand, is one that’s armed with a multitude of card slots within, as well as a quick access back compartment for train and gym access cards. For the men who love to make a fashion statement, the Initiales Belt in Monogram Eclipse Split (SGD870) is the perfect show stopper coming with the eye-catching print all over.

Next up there are the bags, one of which being the iconic Keepall45 (SGD3350) that’s definitely different from the regular ones. Aside from the cool (and limited) MES print, the Keepall comes with a removable strap that’s been revised. Part of it is thicker, and it also features a revised strap adjustment mechanism that’s also way cooler. The other bag is the MES Tote (SGD3450), a strong contender for a great work bag that will hold documents and everyday essentials neatly in place.

Before we go, take a peek at the Monogram Split Mini Box and Monogram Split Wallet Case, both of which are hard-sided box cases that would look good on either a man or a woman. Rendered in a structured shape, one is essentially a top handle trunk with its own sling, while the latter is the great hard case for cards and cash. Definitely not needs, but seriously, want. Time is ticking though, this pop-up at LV’s Island Maison will end on 8 February 2018 so head on down if you haven’t already.
