Onitsuka Tiger has officially reopened its flagship at Takashimaya Shopping Centre, and it now ranks as the brand’s largest retail-focused store in Southeast Asia. Expanded to an impressive 529 sqm, the newly revamped boutique occupies more than three times its original footprint. In one of Singapore’s most prestigious shopping destinations, the move underscores the city’s importance as a regional retail hub.

The Takashimaya Shopping Centre location has long served as the Japanese fashion brand’s Singapore flagship. Situated within the prestigious retail corridor on basement one, four adjoining units combine into a single expansive Onitsuka Tiger universe. The boutique officially opened its doors on 3 June 2026, welcoming celebrities and friends of the brand, including brand ambassador Gulf Kanawut and a strong showing from Singapore’s entertainment community.
First impressions begin with a striking stainless steel façade inspired by traditional Japanese latticework. Inside, newly developed fixtures, enhanced lighting and plush orange furnishings create a warm contrast against the metallic exterior. The result feels contemporary and unmistakably Onitsuka Tiger, without relying on overt branding.
Another standout feature is exclusive to this location. It is the only Onitsuka Tiger store in Singapore to house two bespoke chandeliers handcrafted by a Japan-based Korean artist. Each incorporates tigers and signature footwear silhouettes amongst local motifs, such as orchids and tropical fruits, creating a playful nod to both brand heritage and Singapore.
The expanded floor space further allows the store to showcase the full breadth of what Onitsuka Tiger currently offers. Aside from the heritage collection, shoppers will also find the NIPPON MADE and DENIVITA lines under one roof. B1-37/38/39/40 Takashimaya Shopping Centre is certainly the brand’s most comprehensive retail destination in Singapore and beyond.
