Bottega Veneta’s fragrance journey enters a new chapter this season. Its most expansive fragrance collection to date, Alta comprises 10 eau de parfum creations. While the luxury house’s inaugural fragrance collection centred on Venetian heritage, this latest release widens the lens. Moving through different moods and moments of the day, it explores Italy in conversation with the rest of the world.

Binding the collection together is the concept of the ‘Intrecciato duo’, an olfactory interpretation of Bottega Veneta’s signature weave. Each fragrance pairs an ingredient sourced from Italy with one from elsewhere, creating unexpected exchanges between cultures and traditions. The result is a collection built on contrasts, where freshness meets depth, brightness meets sensuality and airy notes meet warmth.

From crisp morning clarity to the depths of evening, Alta unfolds like a sensory journey. Immediately evocative, Always Now combines aromatic basil with earthy Madagascan vetiver. Then drawing inspiration from the atelier gardens of Veneto, Montebello pairs blood orange with North African neroli. Meanwhile, Balliamo captures the mood of a lingering summer evening through white fig and American cedarwood.

The more intimate scents prove equally compelling. Bare Morning layers a powdery talco accord with Oceania sandalwood, while Slow Rise pairs late-summer rose with French clary sage. Ricordami may be the collection’s most intriguing proposition, pairing stracciatella ice cream with grounding oakwood.

As the day deepens, the scents become richer still. Moment After blends leather accords with vanilla, even as Night Sound combines saffron with Vietnamese benzoin. Velvet Steps marries plum with Spanish labdanum, and finally, Crepuscolo contrasts sea-salt brightness with oud, capturing the fleeting beauty of dusk.

Of course, the collection’s design reflects the same attention to detail. Refillable bottles crafted from recycled glass are etched with a sculptural interpretation of the Intrecciato weave. Wooden caps and gold-tone accents reference Venetian architecture and jewellery craftsmanship. Available in 50 ML and 100 ML sizes, Bottega Veneta’s Alta fragrance collection launches in Singapore on 30 June 2026.
