Dior's Latest Book Tote Is Quilted To Perfection

The start of a new year is the perfect time to refresh your look. What better way to do that than picking up Dior’s latest iteration of its celebrated Book Tote in Macrocannage leather. The oversized version of the brand’s signature motif adds a graphic play on perspectives to the structured top-handle tote.

Crafting the elegant Macrocannage Book Tote uses the same artisanal techniques as for the original, of course. After an initial assessment at the ateliers (a process that involves measuring leather thickness and cutting out the necessary parts), expert stitching forms the quilted pattern on the tote.

Complemented with leather handles in a tone-on-tone colour, the new Book Tote is available in three sizes. Similar to its embroidered canvas counterparts. Small measures 26.5 cm by 21 cm, while medium and large come in at 36.5 cm by 28 cm and 41.5 cm by 32 cm respectively.

Not only is the Macrocannage detailing reminiscent of the Lady Dior’s, but the D-I-O-R charms add extra shine to the quilted leather body. This is also the first time Dior incorporates the pale gold hardware into the Book Tote. And all three sizes come with a removable leather strap, ideal if you prefer a crossbody look.

Prices for the Macrocannage Book Tote start at SGD5300 for the small, before going up to SGD5900 for the medium and SGD6500 for the large. Colours include Black, Latte, Powder Beige and Stone Grey, all classic Dior hues that are as timeless as it gets.
