Bottega Veneta introduces a new masterpiece that pushes the boundaries of craftsmanship in fashion. The top-handle Tosca Shoulder Bag may seem deceptively simple at first glance. However, it’s actually made entirely by hand without any stitching. Instead, the work of art uses an exceptional weaving technique.

Artisans at Bottega Veneta ateliers weave strips of calfskin leather together to form a sturdy, structured piece. Each full-leather bag measures 27 cm wide and 18 cm high. Devoid of any logos or outstanding monograms, this wonder comes alive through its unique interwoven design.

With a drop length of 18 cm, the handle is long enough to sling the Tosca Shoulder Bag quite comfortably. Complementing it is a slouchy fold-over flap that sits under the arm whenever you’re out and about.

Aside from the usual favourites in Barolo, Black and Fondant, Bottega Veneta is introducing a seasonal special. The tri-colour combination of Black, Agate Grey and Deep Pacific is also accompanied by a shiny metallic sphere closure. Launching very soon, it will retail at SGD15,020.

The Tosca is eligible for the Certificate of Craft, part of Bottega Veneta’s ongoing initiative to extend the longevity of your favourite leather goods. Each certificate comes with a gold metallic card, unique QR code, serial number and an accompanying leather cardholder made from high-quality offcuts in the brand’s Montebello atelier.
