Chanel's Iconic #CHANEL22 Now Comes In Grained Leather

For those patiently waiting for this day to come, here’s good news. It’s finally happening! Yes, Chanel’s iconic #CHANEL22, now offered in Caviar leather, will be part of the #CHANELFallWinter bag line-up.

It is a grained leather that’s not only hardier, but also features tiny speckles that make up its grain. While there’s nothing wrong with lambskin leather, some find it either too shiny or too stiff. Neither are attributes that fit the aesthetic of a bag that’s supposed to be soft and slouchy.

On the other hand, Caviar makes the 22 way softer, imparting that c’est la vie feel with the perfect slouch. Measuring 20 cm by 16 cm by 6 cm, the mini size (SGD7430) comes in black and pink options. Both feature tone-on-tone hardware on the logo.

Or size up to the small (SGD8260) and medium (SGD8710) in black or a denim-y blue, with matching tonal hardware as well. While they will likely launch in the latter part of September in Singapore, you will probably need to express your interest now to secure the colour and size you want.
