Longchamp Delves Into Basketry With The Épure Osier Bucket

When Longchamp decided to delve into the craft of basketry, it made perfect sense that they worked on the Épure. And the result, the Épure Osier bucket bag, is a fun and fabulous wicker basket that certainly justifies the effort.

In collaboration with Jean-Marc Blanchard, the natural wicker bag is hand-woven using long osier strips. The bulbous shape of the original translates perfectly into the basket’s vertical body. Similarly measuring 22.5 cm high and 17 cm wide, it has a circular opening on top.

Perfect for beach picnics or small grocery runs, the Épure Osier comes complete with a brown Russian leather flap and structured top handle. Yes, just like those on the Le Pliage range of bags. There’s also an inner leather pocket to keep track of cards and cash.
