Longchamp is no stranger to collaborations, and this year sees a rather cheeky pairing with the duo behind TOILETPAPER. Between the two, Maurizio Cattelan is a visual artist known for his 2019 conceptual artwork ‘Comedian’. Remember that fresh banana fixed onto a wall with duct tape?

Pierpaolo Ferrari, on the other hand, is a renowned photographer behind some of the most talked-about fashion imagery. These include the 2013 Kenzo campaign that pinned Sean O’Pry and Rinko Kikuchi onto a table amongst beetles and butterflies, as well as the images in TOILETPAPER’s very own bi-annual publication, of course.

Come 18 July 2023, the #LongchampXToiletpaper collaboration will launch across all boutiques worldwide. Each top-handle Le Pliage bag will feature hyper-realistic art, guaranteed conversation pieces with a touch of humour wherever you go. There are five original designs, all revolving around a colourful palette of candy pink, sky blue and sunshine yellow.

Joining them are accessories such as cowhide leather keychains and a silk ribbon matching the recycled polyester canvas Le Pliage bags to perfection. Graphic elements like the baguette, French bulldog, as well as Longchamp’s very own sprinting course and leather pipe are evident throughout the collection.

Looking to add a cheeky and playful touch to your wardrobe? Then you should definitely check out this capsule collection.
