Dior Men, under the creative direction of Kim Jones, often works with multiple guest designers on seasonal runway shows. For example, the likes of KAWS, Rimowa, Stüssy and Supreme in recent years. Fall-Winter 2023 is no exception, evident in the Dior Tears capsule collection. This time, courtesy of Tremaine Emory, the founder and artistic director of Denim Tears.
Together with Dior, Emory infuses codes of American and French design sensibilities in hopes of evoking tears of joy. The highlight of the Dior Tears collaboration is none other than Denim Tears’ floral peace sign. Juxtaposing against denim blue #DiorOblique, the result is a graphic combination that fans of both Dior and Denim Tears should not miss.
All the bags in this collection come in blue cotton denim, complete with the laser-drawn #DiorOblique monogram on top. Exclusive to the Dior Tears capsule, the peace sign flowers are then superimposed on selected parts of the blue #DiorOblique denim.
Aside from the classic Saddle Bag (SGD5800), there’s also the compact Saddle Pouch Wth Strap (SGD3200), with its CD buckle doubling as the closure of the flap bag. Then there’s the Saddle Triple Pouch (SGD4000), a three-in-one combination of removable purses. Or opt for the standalone A5 Pouch (SGD1400) that’s perfect for the grab-and-go.
