Balenciaga’s Le Cagole Carousel Is Here In Singapore

Ever wanted to get up close with as many Le Cagole bags as possible in one go? Here’s your chance to do so with Balenciaga’s custom metallic carousels making their way around our region. In Singapore, the display graces Balenciaga’s boutique in Paragon Shopping Centre till 20 July, before moving to Marina Bay Sands from 21 July to 6 August.

A plethora of Le Cagole bags in numerous colours, textures and materials will be on display. ‘Cagole’ is a French term typically describing an over-the-top personality who is also self-confident and outgoing. This pretty much sums up the Balenciaga bag, complete with braided handles, elaborate knotted zipper pulls and all-over buckles and studs detailing.

Wondering what to expect? Firstly, Balenciaga reveals colours across the spectrum, such as acid green, Balenciaga grey, candy pink, dark bronze, fluorescent yellow, gold, orange, purple, red, sky blue and more. Then, there are materials such as the signature Arena, along with an assorted mix of crocodile-embossed leather, frayed and washed denim, sparkling fabric, sponge, suede and ruffled spandex.

Various Le Cagole bags will also feature treatments such as exterior coatings and prints. For example, styles like graffiti, metallic, monogrammed, pierced with safety pins, as well as worn-in aged looks. Finally, the hardware. Aside from the standard aged metal, some also come in monochrome or shiny finishes, and even covered entirely in strass.
