After previously teaming up with designers like Vivienne Westwood, Jean Paul Gaultier and Karl Lagerfeld, Brazilian footwear label Melissa is no stranger to fashion collaborations. Its latest partnership? A tie-up with American designer Marc Jacobs.

In a choice that’s perfect for summer, they swapped out its iconic jelly shoes for cool girl slip-on designs. The limited-edition collection offers the best of both worlds for convenience and style, without sacrificing comfort, of course.

Look forward to three chunky styles that are prominently emblazoned with the signature Marc Jacobs monogram detail. These come in colours ranging from classic black and ivory to vibrant blue and electric orange. You might recognise them from the designer’s ready-to-wear colour palette.

Kicking off the trio are the two lightweight pairs that come in women’s sizes ranging from 36 to 41. Firstly, the chunky Y2K-inspired Becky Platform Slide (SGD259), which comes with a 6 cm platform and an open-toe format. Next, elevate your shoe game (quite literally) even more with the trendy Clog (SGD329), whose platform measures 6.5 cm.

Should you prefer to remain closer to the ground, there’s also Melissa’s bestselling Slide (SGD199). Also getting the Marc Jacobs treatment, this option comes in a wider selection of sizes, from 36 to 45. And as with all of Melissa’s sustainable shoes, these exclusive ones are similarly crafted in innovative Melflex, a patented type of PVC that’s recyclable, flexible, resistant and comfortable.
