Each bag showcases handcrafted pompons in supple calf leather, showing off the craftsmanship and savoir-faire of the Belgian bag-making house.

In five key colours, namely Aloe, Azure, Calypso, Dune and Sorbetto, meticulously assembled strips of leather form individual poofs with a fringe-like effect. Coming together like a profusion of floral blooms, the pompons appear in tight rows on the leather exterior.

Word has it that it takes over seven hours just to place the pompons on a single bucket bag. So you can only imagine the amount of effort that goes into these limited-edition pieces. Keep an eye out for two emblematic Delvaux bags in the Pompons collection.

Firstly, the Brillant PM, which retails at SGD14,500. The structured top-handle bag comes in sturdy calf leather, complete with an Optic White leather base. Do note that the multicolour pompons only feature on the front panel so as not to compromise its trapezoidal silhouette.

Alternatively, if you love a more-is-more style, go for the Pin Mini Bucket (SGD7700) in Aloe and Sorbetto instead. The Taurillon soft leather bucket features an abundance of pompons much like fields of tulips at Keukenhof or nearby Gardens by the Bay.
