Pastels for spring? Yes, Chanel Beauty has a new Brightening Makeup collection for 2023 with soft dreamy hues. And it is both pretty and pretty mesmerising. The fresh line-up is evocative of the pastel tweeds that Gabrielle Chanel was partial to during the summer season.

Look forward to a range of both delicate and sparkling shades in reverie-inducing pastel harmonies. Besides instantly illuminating your look, they will also boost your mood and make for pretty makeup looks all year round.

Starting with soft, light tones for the eyes, a limited-edition Les 4 Ombres (SGD110) eyeshadow palette comes in 68 Délices. The striking quad serves up shades of powder pink, satiny purple, tangy yellow and matte mauve. Wear the versatile hues individually for a wash of pigment or blend them together to create myriad looks.

Another must-have? The collectable Fantaisie de Chanel (SGD104) in Pastel Fuschia that instantly adds radiance to the complexion. The too-pretty-to-use palette holds a satiny peachy pink illuminating powder in a gorgeous tie-dye pattern with fuchsia accents. An eye-catching double C embossing sits against a textured raised fabric-like design. Swirl and swipe on for a natural look or layer it for added colour and shimmer.

And then there’s the multi-use Baume Essentiel (SGD70) in two new hues that are here to stay. Add delicate luminosity with Dragée (pink) or Lilas (lilac) for an effortless glow. Besides applying the glow stick on the highs of the cheeks, forehead, bridge of the nose and chin, you can also use it to cast a soft glow on the eyelids and lips.

You’ll also find a selection of new shades for Rouge Allure Ink (SGD62), Rouge Coco Baume (SGD58), and Stylo Sourcils Waterproof (SGD65) eyebrow pencils as part of the collection.

The Brightening Makeup collection is now available at Chanel’s Beauty & Fragrance boutiques and counters, and online via the maison’s e-shop.
