In honour of the founder Monsieur Louis Vuitton’s birthday on 4 August 1821, the French luxury house has launched a series of celebratory events such as #LOUIS200, activations and launches all lined up in the months to come. A momentous event that commemorates the life and legacy of Louis Vuitton (he was, after all, an adventurer and innovator well ahead of his time), they have quite aptly launched an exceptionally cool video game that will allow you to travel the world right now.

Available on Apple’s App Store and Google Play for Android devices, Louis: The Game is completely free to play as well. Join Vivienne (Louis Vuitton’s mascot) as she travels around 6 imaginary worlds in search of special birthday candles, with different keys that will unlock specific levels as you climb the global leaderboard to compete against your friends.
You can also get different skins for Vivienne, changing up her look as you progress throughout the game while tweaking with her wardrobe as you go along. Some of them include a Vivienne as DJ, as well as another in an astronaut suit, with extras like iconic bags doubling up as her accessories while on the go.

And if you need further incentive, the game will include 30 NFTs integrating the latest blockchain technology, of which 10 are created by renowned digital artist Beeple. These are up for grabs as the game progresses, and after you’ve collected at least 200 candles. You can get them by getting Vivienne to glide, float, jump and walk across various city/country landscapes that will help make up for the lack of actual travel right now.
What’s more, each candle will also reveal a postcard that will give you more insight into the fabled maison, with peeks into its historic collaborations and special orders, for example. Other interesting nuggets on the family’s history and fashion runway highlights will also be revealed as you progress, making this a fun video game not to be missed if you’re a fan of the brand. What a birthday celebration indeed!
