A Quick Refresher On Balenciaga’s New Le Cagole Bag

There’s a quirky charm to Balenciaga’s Le Cagole, and the more you look at it, the more it grows on you, especially if you were a fan of the original Motorcycle bag that inspired this new rendition. With an extra zipped pouch, heart-shaped mirror, and plenty of studs all over, the Le Cagole looks set to be a new Balenciaga favourite for seasons to come.

Love small bags? Well, you can always get the Le Cagole XS that you read about previously, a chic and compact size that’s enough for essentials like your mobile phone, cardholder and a lipstick (or two). However, if you need something bigger, there’s always the small and medium sizes which are larger options for those who aren’t into tiny bags.

Measuring 33 cm at its widest and 16 cm high, the Small Le Cagole can well be considered the comfortable in-between size for day-to-night use. Aside from a roomy central compartment, there’s also a zipped pocket at the back which is always great for quick access cards and the like. The Medium Le Cagole, on the other hand, is significantly larger at 37 cm by 25 cm, fashioned with a knotted leather puller in front to provide an extra layer of extra security. Taking more is more to a whole new level, it makes for the perfect weekend carryall for the gym or that yoga session and comes only in black that’s as classic as it gets.

Do note that there’s a total of 11 different punch holes to adjust the strap’s length as you please, giving you a multitude of options like wearing the Le Cagole over the shoulder or having it slung across the body for a casual look.

Prices start from SGD2250 for the Le Cagole XS, before going up to SGD2590 for the small size and SGD2950 for the medium one in Arena lambskin leather. Should you prefer a shiny metallic option, Balenciaga’s got another version in silver crocodile-embossed calfskin (SGD3050) that’s dressed up with white rhinestones on the studs, and is pretty much as eye-catching as it gets.
