01 – Made ultra-thin, these sleek pocket objects are portable cases for perfume refills. A stylish and modern way to experience the Maison’s scents, each case holds a 30 ml glass refill held by a magnetic mechanism that’s specially developed to facilitate fluidity. They slip easily into your hand or into your purse, and also work as an attention-commanding display piece.

02 – Inspired by Cartier’s early 20th century vanity cases, you’ll find some of the cases chiselled with gold or silver-coloured stripes, others guilloched with geometric shapes and patterns inspired by traditional influences that perfectly capture the essence of Art Deco, and even one embellished with the brand’s symbols, including the iconic red box, bell boy and panther.

03 – Each piece takes more than seven steps to be completed. A true expression of Cartier’s art de vivre, everything from the engraving of the metal to the application of lacquer are all carried out by hand, groove by groove, up to the final polishing process. A treat for yourself or a gift for others, the cases can be personalised with engraving and are housed in the brand’s iconic red box that can also be hot stamped.

04 – Debuting with 9 refills (Baiser Volé, La Panthère, Déclaration, Pasha Edition Noire, Oud & Santal, L’Heure Mystérieuse, L’Heure Diaphane, Pur Kinkan and Pur Magnolia), the possibilities seem infinite as you can swap out the fragrances from one day to the next, depending on your mood.

05 – Priced from SGD690 to SGD1190 for the metal cases and SGD1344 to SGD1700 for the ones that come in a lacquer finish, they are sold with a pair of 30 ml refills of your choice. Intrigued? The Les Nécessaires À Parfum collection is now available at all Cartier boutiques in Singapore, and via the brand’s online e-commerce site, with a new design coming July 2021.
