The interesting fact about classic bifold wallets lies in the sheer number of options being offered to men these days, with almost every luxury house having one style (if not more) to offer, often coming decked out
in coated canvas, along with styles in full leather. It is also undeniably one of the better gifts you can get for your man given its mileage, especially considering that fact that he will be using it on a daily basis, whether or not he is #WFH.

Kicking it off are the four bifold wallets in canvas, each decorated with the respective brand’s iconic monogram over on the exterior. Goyard’s Victoire Wallet (priced from SGD1080) has been a go-to favourite for several reasons, one of which being its Goyardine canvas that comes in 11 different colour combinations, ranging from the classic Black and Black/Tan to the special hues that cost a little more.

Louis Vuitton’s Multiple Wallet (SGD690) in Monogram Eclipse has been steadily gaining fans as well, all thanks to the black-and-grey finish that isn’t as ‘loud’ as some of its siblings that come in Damier Ebene or Monogram Canvas. The next two are rather newish designs that have entered the market in the past couple of years or so. There’s the 6CC Wallet (SGD650) from Fauré Le Page and the 6CC Compact Wallet (SGD780) from Moynat, both opening to a full leather interior with 6 stitched slots and a bill compartment for all your cash and cards.

Moving on to the full-leather designs courtesy of Burberry, Celine, Prada and Saint Laurent. Burberry’s Icon Stripe Leather International Bifold Coin Wallet (SGD570) comes digitally printed with the brand’s signature detailing at the corner, while Celine’s Bi-Fold Wallet (SGD590) in grained calfskin and Saint Laurent’s East/West Wallet (SGD690) are kept really simple, save for an embossed logo at the bottom and top respectively.

Rounding up the lot would be the Saffiano Leather Wallet (SGD670) from Prada, with the colour Cinnamon picked for the simple fact that it’s the holiday season, and there’s frankly no harm if you want your man to have more than just black for the bags and wallets that he already owns.
