Sometimes, all you need is a little enchantment in your life and one can always count on the Eau Des Merveilles fragrances from Hermès to open the doors to the wonders of the French luxury house. Since 2004, the perfumes have brought the extraordinary into the light, with each scent allowing wearers to see the world from new angles.

Following the success of Eau des Merveilles Bleue, which captured the scent of sea spray and the emotion of discovering the ocean, Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel has created L’Ombre des Merveilles, an EDP offering a contrast of light and shade by highlighting the deep radiance of the world.

An oriental woody juice that is ideal for any occasion, each spritz of the chiaroscuro fragrance delivers a spicy and dry olfactory emotion with a scent that envelopes the wearer in a veil of soft cashmere. Expect balsamic, green and smoky accords that are brought by notes of black tea, a swirl of mysterious incense and sensual tonka bean.

Similar to the other bottles from the collection, this too is housed in a round bottle resembling a magnifying glass, complete with a spray nozzle engraved with the Hermès saddle nail seal. Flat on one side and rounded on the other, the signature rocking bottle, created by the late sculptor Serge Mansau who worked on hundreds of perfume bottle designs, features blue star-spangled glass that reveals the poetry of the world, bringing something magical into the light.

Priced at SGD113 for 30 ml, SGD174 for 50 ml and SGD249 for 100 ml, the L’Ombre des Merveilles EDP is now available across all Hermès boutiques in Singapore or if you want to shop online, you can place your orders via Hermès’ online e-comm home now.
