Back in 2017, Korean beauty e-commerce marketplace Glow Recipe, based in New York, started its own eponymous skincare line. The brand created waves in the social media sphere and what began as just 2 products, the Blueberry Bounce Cleanser and cult-favourite Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask, quickly grew into a whole collection of fruit-infused skincare, all of which are designed to bring out your inner glow.

Its products are made in South Korea and crafted with a superfruit base, with the idea that fruits are not only delicious, but amazing at nourishing and protecting the skin. Plus, all its creations boost a fresh, fruity scent, with some smelling exactly like the fruit it contains, such as watermelon, pineapple and banana.

To start, the brand will be launching 10 skincare essentials in Singapore, including its bestselling Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist (SGD43 for 75 ml), Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask (SGD75 for 15 ml) and Banana Souffle Moisture Cream (SGD60 for 50 ml).

Not sure where to start? Try out their OG products, the 3-in-1 hydrating Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser (from SGD16 for 30 ml) that’s infused with blueberry extract and can be used as a makeup remover, daily cleanser or as a deep clarifying mask. There’s also the Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask (SGD69 for 80 ml) that has a fresh watermelon scent and comes in a bouncy, water-gel texture, with hydrating hyaluronic acid, pore refining AHAs and of course, amino-acid rich watermelon extract. Use it as a sleeping mask by applying a generous layer as the final step of your night-time routine or as a rinse-off mask by spreading a thick layer, leaving it on for 10 minutes and rinsing it off with lukewarm water.

Presented in preppy jars and colourful packaging, with clean ingredients and delightful textures, they’ll surely make a fun addition to any top shelf. And with everything priced under SGD75, you’ll be able to keep your skin and wallets happy. All that’s left to do now is wait.
