#BAGAHOLICBOY SHOPS: 3 Designer Mini Totes To Get

Ladies and gentlemen, you might want to start placing your orders for these 3 designs from Celine, Dior and Louis Vuitton, because a new trend is on the rise, and you can expect an influx of mini totes in the months to come. These bags are all spin-offs of their significantly larger siblings, identified by a boxy silhouette and miniature size that will look equally good on both men and women. Plus, they all come with two top handles so you can carry each like a tote bag (hence the term, ‘mini tote’), as well as an extra shoulder strap that will allow you to wear it conveniently over the shoulder.

First up, the Mini Vertical Cabas (SGD1700) from Celine is a shrunken down version of the brand’s Vertical Cabas, measuring 21 cm by 17 cm and good enough for a day’s worth of essentials. The tan leather handles complement the Triomphe Canvas to a T, and it also comes in a second version with cotton canvas and natural calfskin trimmings that is priced slightly higher at SGD1800.

Next, the Mini D-Dior Tote Bag (SGD3200) is the only one in the trio that comes in full calfskin, which explains its higher price point. A smaller (and cuter) version of the D-Dior Tote Bag launched in collaboration with Shawn Stussy, this mini shopper is part of the current Pre-Fall 2020 line-up, decorated with the white Dior x Shawn embroidery right in front. It helps that the 25 cm by 21 cm bag will fit your AirPods, mobile phone, keys, wallet, and so much more, making it the perfect size while running out for errands or catching up with your small group of friends for afternoon tea over the weekends.

The third design is no stranger to you, the Petit Sac Plat that’s named (and shaped) after Louis Vuitton’s iconic Sac Plat tote bag. It’s also the tiniest size of the lot, measuring just 17 cm tall and 14 cm wide, and will be available in options like Monogram Canvas (SGD1850) and Epi Noir or Epi Rose Ballerine (SGD2130) leather.

If you’re keen to get your hands on them, Celine and Dior’s versions are now available at the boutiques in Singapore, while Louis Vuitton’s Petit Sac Plat will be arriving soon. If you haven’t joined the waitlist or indicated your interest, you know what you have to do.
