Kenzo x Vans Capsule Collection

All eyes were on Felipe Oliveira Baptista when he made his runway debut for Kenzo at Paris Fashion Week, having assumed the role of Creative Director of the fashion house back in July 2019. The Portuguese designer has a pretty impressive résumé ranging from haute couture to sportswear (previously Creative Director of Lacoste from 2010 to 2018), which made him the perfect fit for a dynamic brand like Kenzo. The show proved to be a success, with Felipe putting his very own spin on Kenzo’s beloved tiger, while re-introducing floral patterns and prints that were drawn from the archives.

While the Fall-Winter 2020 collection will not be launching till the later part of the year, you can look forward to the Kenzo x Vans capsule collection that will be available for orders come 17 June 2020. Yes, aside from the fun Hi-Sk8 and Old-Skool sneakers, you can also dress from head-to-toe (literally) in Kenzo’s signature floral prints, with caps, backpacks and RTW making up the 46-piece assortment available for both men and women.

Featuring archival floral motifs that lend a bold pop of colour to bandanas, bum bags and tees, which are all perfect for the everyday (and just some of the pieces you should most definitely order first), there’s even a limited-edition skateboard deck that’s limited to just 150 pieces worldwide, with 4 allocated for sale in Singapore.

Do note that both sneakers (2 styles featuring 3 prints each) will be dropping in-stores as well, priced exactly the same as the ones on END, so you don’t have to worry if you submitted your raffle entry last week. As for the rest of the collection, prices start from SGD175 for the bandana, going up to SGD360 for the bumbag and SGD510 for the fully functional backpack as far as accessories are concerned. Keen?
