Gucci’s celebrated Floral motif is back in time for the holidays, and it’s bigger and better than ever before. The iconic pattern which consists of 43 different types of flowers, insects and plants (and if you didn’t already know, comprises a colour palette of 37 different hues) was created back in 1966 by famed Italian illustrator Vittorio Accornero, with its origins beginning as a silk scarf that was presented as a gift to Princess Grace of Monaco.

53 years later, Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele has integrated the legendary floral pattern with another house signature, the GG Supreme canvas (this is the very first time the House has combined both designs), making it a collection that’s perfect on so many levels. The multi-coloured floral pattern was digitally printed on the beige-and-ebony canvas, forming the all-new GG Floral motif that can be found on an entire assortment of Ophidia (identified by the GG Marmont tab and Gucci Web detailing) bags and SLGs.

And it’s a pretty impressive range to boot, with plenty of options no matter the occasion. This includes backpacks and belt bags, as well as mini bags and shoulder bags that are furnished with either red, white or yellow leather trims. Not forgetting the handy tote which is made available in a Small (armed with an extra shoulder strap) or Medium for you to choose from.
