No, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. What you’re looking at is a limited-edition watch created in collaboration with Pokémon to celebrate Baby-G’s 25th anniversary. From the front, the face is seemingly simple, coming in a minimalistic black and furnished with the Pokémon logo, but the real fun lies in the watch strap, one that’s decorated with Pikachu’s lightning bolts and Pokéballs all over in bold colours of neon green, orange and pink.

The model is based on the BGD-560 model, coming in at 44 mm wide that will look equally well on him or her (fun fact? Baby-G was created as the ladies alternative to G-Shock). Other cool features include the backlight which reveals a lovely Pikachu (in a yellow glow, no less), as well as the numbers 0:25 in a pixel-art font that’s an homage to the 25th anniversary theme.

Casio will be releasing the Baby-G x Pokemon Watch at G-Shock outlets in Singapore from 12 December, at SGD189 each.
