Mlouye Pandora

It’s pretty amazing how fast Mlouye is churning out brand new bag designs, with the spotlight today falling on the Pandora that comes with a geometrical silhouette inspired by architect Oscar Niemeyer’s modern contemporary aesthetics. It measures 22 cm wide by 15 cm high, armed with a single top handle so you can carry it like a chic handbag, or simply attach the shoulder strap (drop length of 55 cm) to sling it casually over the shoulder. Aside from the fact that it comes in quality leather which will withstand the test of time, the Pandora (like all the other bags in Mlouye’s line-up) is also well-constructed; just zoom in and look at the seams closely and you will see the amount of work that goes into each piece.

Not only does the Pandora come shaped like a chic beach tent, it opens up in a similar manner as well. All you have to do is gently press the push lock closure, and you will be able to access the contrasting-coloured interior from the front (as opposed to other bags that typically open from the top), one that’s padded with soft luxurious sheepskin to keep all your essentials protected within. In addition, Mlouye has included a drawstring leather barrier on the inside, so you don’t have to be worried about its contents accidentally falling out. That’s extra points for a well-thought-out design that’s unique and functional all at once.

Now, on to the good news. The Pandora (SGD710) comes in a wide array of colour options like Black, Burgundy, Cyclamen (Pink), Jade, Light Brown, Light Grey and White, all of which come furnished with brushed gold hardware for that extra touch of luxe. In other words, if you spot a colour that you really love, it’s best you add it to your cart and hit the checkout button before the pieces run out. And if you’re wondering about shipping and taxes, every purchase from Mlouye comes with complimentary express shipping, with duties and taxes factored into the list price. What’s not to love?
