Neon is big, no huge, for Spring-Summer 2019, spotted on the runways from streetwear favourite Off-White’s eye-catching snakeskin print to flowing elegant gowns by Prabal Gurung. Fendi, on the other hand, is going one notch up by releasing an entire capsule collection together with famed graffiti artist, Pref, with pieces (specifically, the bags) dedicated to bright and bold neons.

Fendi’s IT-bag, the Mon Tresor (SGD2390), makes a return decked out in neon trimmings and accompanying logos stitched beautifully on the exterior. The ubiquitous Baguette (SGD3190), on the other hand, is one that’s perfect for the everyday, or go a size up (SGD3750) that’s great for size queens. Aside from a bright Fuchsia, both designs will also be made available in a neon Yellow version, which can be seen on the Mon Tresor and Baguette respectively.
For those who prefer their bags in full leather, here’s a piece of good news. The Peekaboo X-Lite (SGD5950) will be available in Fuchsia, along with a black-contrasted one with a bright yellow interior for an added pop of colour. Not forgetting the Baguette Selleria (SGD3590) which is priced slightly higher than the canvas version above, rendered in the brand’s signature Selleria Cuoio Romano leather for a luxurious finish.
Don’t rush down to your nearest Fendi boutique just yet, as the capsule collection will only be available at the Marina Bay Sands boutique from 14 May 2019. Then again, no one is going to stop you from heading down now and putting yourself on the wait list.
