For those of you who are firstly always in Hong Kong (because it’s literally just a 4 hour plane ride away), and secondly a hardcore Céline fan, here’s an important tidbit you won’t want to miss out on. Featuring the same design concept as the French luxury house’s flagship in London’s Mount Street, Céline’s spanking new boutique at IFC Hong Kong is now open, featuring a stunning marble floor (made up of 9 types of marble from Brazil, France and Italy, to be exact) and other decorative touches created specially by Danish artist FOS.
Now for the juicier bit. To commemorate the store’s new opening, Céline will be releasing 25 of these limited edition exotic python Classic bags, which besides being in that elegant shade of burgundy (and finished with gold-tone hardware no less), also comes stamped on the inside with the words HONG KONG IFC and their own individual serial number just to make it a tad more special.
Priced at HKD43,500 each (or almost SGD8000 after conversion), you could say this is truly one eye-watering (that price) and mouth-watering (those looks) combo that no fan should be without.
