If you know me well enough, you’ll know the type of bags that get me every time. And from Alexander McQueen comes a new S/S15 offering that’s only smaller than small which is the way I like it, but also brightly-hued and a colour blocker’s dream.

Known as the Mini Heroine, it’s McQueen’s take on the top handle framed bag that’s not only all stiff and proper but also voluptuously-shaped with its rounded side curves. Just 18.5 cm across by around 22 cm in height, it’s the perfect fun party bag complete with a long enough sling to wear across the body. Priced at USD1625 online, it’s also a tad pricey, the only negative in my long list of yesses.

If, however, you prefer something sans top handles but still smallish and fun to carry around, you could also check out her sister, the Mini Heroine Shoulder in the same colour combo for GBP895 via Net-A-Porter. Still pricey, yes, but no less cute.
