Nike Nikelab Air Vapormax Flyknit Sneakers

Do a search for Nike on this blog and the entries that come up on the first page all show Nike’s Flyknit Racer in a myriad of colours. Which is all well and good, but there’s another shoe from Nike that’s been gaining lots of traction of late. Yes, it’s the Air Vapormax, a sneaker that’s part-Flyknit Racer and part-springy, supportive rubber soles.

Taking close to 7 years to develop and tested by 350 athletes before its public release, you can be sure it is a pretty good product that straddles between form and function quite confidently. In Singapore, you can customise your very own pair of Air VaporMax via NikeID online, and that will set you back by SGD349 a pair.

Then there are the NikeLab ones that you’ll find online via Mr Porter. Available in 2 different colour combinations, one in a tonal-grey palette and the other in a charcoal and ochre upper, the best part about these ones is the fact that they are retailing at about SGD100 cheaper, coming in at around SGD250 a pair. And for something that’s almost always sold out everywhere, what are you still waiting for?
