For those of you still hell-bent on buying yourselves a pair of Adidas Originals’ much-coveted NMD XR1 sneakers, take note. These babies (the NMD XR1 in a two-tone colourway with micro-rib knit), along with two more NMD R1 sneakers, one in Core Black and another in Solar Red, will be available online via Adidas UK’s e-commerce site. Set to drop at 9 in the morning (which should be 4 in the afternoon here in Singapore), the NMD XR1 will retail for GBP124.95, while the NMD R1 sneakers will sell for GBP109.95 a pair.
But how do I ship them back to Singapore since Adidas UK doesn’t ship internationally, you ask? Well, I’ve shopped via Adidas UK before and I used Borderlinx to reroute the sneakers back to SG, which basically receives and resends the package to your local address. The shipping price varies, but on average it is around SGD50 a shipment. Add this to the price of the shoes and you’ve still got a good deal. Alternatively, you could also use vPOST or any other freight-forwarding service you prefer, but remember to set your alarm for 4 pm tomorrow because they’ll sell out fast for sure.
