On 19 February, the air at ION Orchard crackled with anticipation and excitement. Prada was officially unveiling its newly renovated boutique with a star-studded guestlist. To catch a glimpse of brand ambassadors including Sana (of TWICE), Win Metawin, Toey Jarinpon, as well as celebrities from Eric Chou to Heart Evangelista, fans gathered patiently outside the boutique.

The sprawling 1,200 sqm space, complete with a curved glass facade emblazoned with the iconic triangle motif, is surely testament to Prada’s enduring allure. Inside, the familiar black-and-white chequered marble floor pays direct homage to the original Milanese store. Juxtaposed against Prada’s signature pastel green walls and plush furnishings, the duplex transforms into an immersive retail destination.

One of the main game-changers of the refreshed boutique is the introduction of Prada Caffè. This isn’t just a place to grab a quick espresso. It’s also about the curated experience, from specially selected porcelain tableware to a carefully crafted menu inspired by Italian tradition. Every detail whispers ‘Prada’, from beautiful cakes and savouries to pastries and chocolates that you can take away.
As consumers move toward seeking new experiences alongside retail shopping, Prada bridges the gap by integrating Prada Caffè with an extensive Prada universe. It currently includes ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, accessories, lifestyle offerings and even the Prada Eternal Gold fine jewellery collection. It’s a smart strategy, one likely to keep Prada at the forefront of fashion for years to come.
