Cartier’s iconic Panthère isn’t solely reserved for its repertoire of fine jewellery and watches. The emblematic wild animal, which the maison first introduced in 1914, also has a namesake fragrance line. Encapsulating its elegance and strength, Cartier launched the first La Panthère fragrance in 2014.

A celebration of the panther’s 100 years, a unique feline-floral accord anchors the EDP (from SGD108 for 30 ML). The captivating floral chypre, born of a radiant gardenia and velvety musk blend, reflects the liberated, passionate woman. Today, the distinctive composition is available in a multitude of interpretations.
For example, a fresher and more floral rendition launched in 2018. Distinctly lighter than the original, the La Panthère EDT (from SGD128 for 50 ML) boasts the radiance of white florals. Ethereal gardenia comes together with crystalline musk for a delicate scent that’s full of grace.
Then just two years later, the La Panthère Parfum (from SGD110 for 30 ML) came along. The most concentrated of the lot, the velvety chypre serves up a blend of gardenia in full bloom. Further amplifying this, an apricot-like osmanthus adds a touch of soft opulence.
Finally, this brings us to the La Panthère Elixir, the latest iteration to join the family. Described as a silky feline-floral scent, notes of jasmine and amber add nuance to the original EDP. Luxurious and warm, the voluptuous and addictive blend wears like the touch of soft feline fur on skin.
Each version shares the same elegant olfactory signature as the original yet are imbued with different personalities. And the newest is no different. It is also presented in a refillable bottle that features the intricate and dynamic lines of the panther’s head.
Priced at SGD250 for 100 ML, the La Panthère Elixir will be available at all Cartier boutiques, and online from September 2024.
