It wasn’t just about clothes and accessories at Celine’s Fall-Winter 2024 show. The collection also marked the birth of Celine Beauté, the maison’s first-ever cosmetics line. An expansion of its Haute Parfumerie range, the makeup collection leads in with a single lipstick, Le Rouge Celine.

Indeed, the lip colour will debut this Fall 2024 in a classic red shade called 01 Rouge Triomphe. But that’s not all. You can also look forward to a full collection of 15 satin-finish colours to follow in January 2025. These include La Peau Nue, the natural rose shade that models in the La Collection De L’arc De Triomphe film wore.
In terms of formulation, a clean beauty approach will deliver both performance and comfort. Expect long-wearing, radiant colour and a hydrating Triomphe-engraved bullet that comprises 89 percent natural origin ingredients. The light, creamy lipstick cloaks lips with a sensorial signature evocative of Hedi Slimane’s obsession with haute couture fabrics.
Another detail worth noting? Le Rouge Celine will feature a delicate scent boasting a 70s accord of rose and rice powder, which carry the same powdery olfactory signature as the perfume collection. A natural extension of the maison’s perfume bottles, the lipstick case will come in faceted gold metal.
Evocative of late 18th century French-style classicism, it takes inspiration from Louis XVI gold jewellery and the Art Deco movement. Finishing touches include the unmistakable Triomphe emblem embossed on the top of the case, and the words ‘Le Rouge Celine Paris’ engraved on the ring that runs around the centre. The refillable couture case also comes in its very own black velvet pouch.
Excited? It gets better. More Celine Beauté delights are in the pipeline, including lip balms (that will come in a silver case), mascaras, eyeliners, nail polish, as well as loose powder and blush. In other words, stay tuned.
