First and foremost, Travis Scott is known for his rap music and record label, Cactus Jack. But in the fashion world, game-changing collaborations with the likes of Dior, Helmut Lang and Nike catapulted him to fame.

This year, the American hip-hop artist ventures into the world of luxury watchmaking with Audemars Piguet. Together, they present The Chocolate AP Royal Oak in brown ceramic to match the brand identity of Cactus Jack.

The 41MM Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar also features numerous Cactus Jack design elements. One of the main standouts is the typography of the calendar indications using the artist’s very own hand-drawn model.

The brand’s logo also appears on the subdial at the 9 o’clock position, along with two luminescent Cactus Jack smiley-face motifs on the moon phase. On the back, twin signatures ‘Audemars Piguet’ and ‘Cactus Jack’ surround the open-worked 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight.

This is also the first time the luxury watchmaker is creating a brown ceramic case and complementary bracelet studs. Even the textured calfskin strap is making its debut for The Chocolate AP Royal Oak.

With just 200 pieces worldwide, the collectible watch will soon be available exclusively at the Travis Scott website.

To mark the launch of the collaboration, Cactus Jack did a takeover of the Audemars Piguet boutique in New York. The space reopened on 1 December with a refreshed look and renewed focus on the limited-edition timepiece. Both brands also announced that they will donate part of the proceeds to a charity project of Travis Scott’s choice.
