With the simple but smart addition of a leather strap, the classic clutch transforms into a contemporary shoulder style called Le Anne-Marie. Part of Saint Laurent’s Fall-Winter 2023 collection, it likely gets its name from Anne-Marie Muñoz, who joined the French fashion house in 1963 to manage Yves Saint Laurent’s studio.

Complete with a subtle embossing of the Saint Laurent Paris logo at its base, the minimalist clutch-meets-shoulder bag measures 29 cm wide and 21.5 cm high. It opens with a hinged kiss-lock closure reminiscent of vintage bags from seasons past. Simply give it a gentle slide to reveal a spacious interior for all your daily needs.

Don’t expect either quilted or grained leather options for the Le Anne-Marie bag. Instead, it is available in three different types of leather. Firstly, a patent leather version comes in full black, while a pearlised patent leather in Espresso Brown offers vintage appeal. Both retail at SGD4380 each. Lastly, a combination of nappa and brushed leather with a colour blocking effect is priced slightly higher at SGD4750.

All three Le Anne-Marie bags are currently available for pre-order, with shipping slated sometime from mid-November in Singapore.
