For Gabrielle Chanel, true chance is that which you create for yourself. With that state of mind, Chanel launched its very first Chance fragrance in 2002. In the years since, the Chance family expanded to comprise four main floral scents. And because there’s a new addition to the Chance Eau Fraîche line-up, it’s the perfect time for a quick refresher.

Today, the Chance family comprises four main floral scents, each boasting its own distinctive colour and aroma for every mood. Firstly, the floral-spicy Chance is an amber-coloured blend of patchouli, pink pepper and musk.

Five years after it came to be, the French maison added Chance Eau Fraîche to the mix. Featuring notes of citron, jasmine and iris, the floral-sparkling green juice is full of joie de vivre.

Next, the pink Chance Eau Tendre with an enveloping softness appeared. The poetic floral-fruity scent, with grapefruit, quince and jasmine, wears like a lucky charm for optimistic personalities who never pass up on a chance. Then in 2015, the floral-zesty Chance Eau Vive debuted with a soft orange hue. It brought along a vibrant energy, as well as a splash of grapefruit, blood orange, jasmine and cedar iris.

This brings us to the latest to join the Chance family, the Chance Eau Fraîche Eau de Parfum. A sequel to the existing eau de toilette, the new cocktail is fresher, but more intense.

A sparkling floral and woody fragrance, it serves a surge of energy that remains true to its heart of jasmine. Coupled with a hint of aldehydes and a deep woody base, expect a longer-lasting finish that’s more textured and ambery.

Ready to take your chance? The new Chance Eau Fraîche EDP is now available in two sizes, 50 ml (SGD195) and 100 ml (SGD280). Find it at Chanel's Fragrance & Beauty boutiques, counters, and online via its official e-store.
