Do The Hop With Bottega Veneta’s Latest Hobo

Bottega Veneta’s intrecciato hobo bags are consistently a crowd favourite. And now they up the ante by reworking the formula to present an all-new version called the Hop. The slouchy relaxed carryall takes on a unique pyramidal shape when you hold it aloft.

At the same time, its slouchy nature assumes a different silhouette depending on how you use it. This is largely due to the use of soft, supple leather and its seamless construction. The result is a relaxed bag that will sit comfortably under the arm and hug close to your body.

A single artisan takes two days to construct each Hop bag, complete with concealed stitching on its sides and edges. There are no zips or unnecessary hardware either, making this lightweight hobo ideal for daily use. The flap also hides a magnetic closure, so you can access all your belongings with a simple lift.

For this initial launch, the new silhouette comes in six colours and two sizes to tickle your fancy. Firstly, the Small Hop measures 41 cm by 20.5 cm and comes in Black, Oyster (greyish-purple) and Siren (seasonal green). On the other hand, the 54 cm by 24 cm Large Hop appears in classic hues of Camomile, Fondant and White.
