After collaborations with brands like Eastpak and UGG, Telfar joins forces with footwear company Melissa to create the Jelly Shopper. The 100 percent see-through PVC bag is crafted in MELFLEX, Melissa’s one-of-a-kind patented plastic material.

While famous for its elasticity and toughness, MELFLEX also offers 100 percent resistance to water and dust. Not only is it odourless and hypoallergenic as well, but a unique property even allows it to be 100 percent recyclable at the end of its shelf life.

Telfar’s standard issue shopping totes come with dual top handles and a long shoulder strap. Hence, the same is true of the Melissa x Telfar Jelly Shopper, which offers multiple ways of carrying. It’s excellent for taking along to concerts or parties because its see-through material allows for easy security checks.

And if you’re one for matching your bags with your shoes, the collaboration also extends to Melissa x Telfar Jelly Slides. Retailing at USD100 a pair, unisex sizes range from US5 to US12. Also made from MELFLEX, the slides feature a short moulded heel and a strappy upper depicting Telfar’s logo.

Launching on 14 July, the Melissa x Telfar Jelly Shopper comes in small, medium and large at USD150, USD200 and USD250 respectively. Telfar ships directly to Singapore, so grab a friend (or three) to save on shipping costs.
