When it comes to colours, Chanel has always identified itself with five emblematic shades. Beige, Black, Gold, Red and White, all of which can be found across its beauty, fashion and fine jewellery creations.

But once in a while, the French maison mixes things up with vibrant hues. Take, for example, its highly anticipated Codes Couleur collection. The limited-edition line of beauty accessories truly mirrors the ethos that ‘every Chanel colour is a code’. Items in the collection come in nine distinct colours, no less, that will surely leave you spoilt for choice.

These range from stylish foldable compact mirrors to nail files and brush sets. Firstly, the Codes Couleur Mirror (SGD66) offers stylish touch-ups on the go. Then there’s the Codes Couleur Nail File (SGD40) for fancy home manicures, both coolly detailed with the double C logo.

Finally, the Codes Couleur Brushes Set (SGD268), a coloured cylindrical zip-around case that houses a trio of essential brushes (N°110 Blush, N°200 Retractable Dual-Ended Eyeshadow, and N°101 Foundation 2-In-1 Fluid & Powder).

While you’re deciding which colour to get what in, it’s worth noting that only five out of the nine shades will be offered in-store. Namely 121 Première Dame (bright pink coral), 129 Ovni (tangy yellow), 131 Cavalier Seul (sage green), 143 Diva (fuschia pink) and 155 Rouge Noir (wine red).

All nine shades will be available online, however, with the remaining four shades making an appearance as online exclusives. These comprise 111 Ballerina (light pink), 127 Fugueuse (deep blue), 135 Immortelle (lilac) and 147 Incendiaire (red orange).

It is ultimately down to which colour has your heart, but you’ll want to decide before 1 July 2023. Because that’s when the Codes Couleur collection launches at Chanel's Fragrance & Beauty boutiques, and online with complimentary delivery islandwide.
