Self-Portrait’s Bow bag debuted in a ‘90s-inspired campaign fronted by supermodel Naomi Campbell. Playing on the title of their hit song, it also features Brandy and Monica belting out 'The Bow Is Mine' in the background.

Officially the brand’s very first It bag, the trapezoid Bow now appears in a curved crescent shape. And if that’s not enough, a brand new miniature size joins the family this year. The Crescent Bow Micro Bag comes with a short top handle, as well as a thin chain strap. The latter has a 105 cm drop length for wearing across the body.

Measuring just 14 cm wide and 11 cm high, the teeny-tiny bag is crafted in 100 percent bovine leather. The exception, of course, is the full silver rhinestone version set atop a synthetic leather outer. Each piece comes with a tone-on-tone or crystal-encrusted bow. Priced from GBP250 to GBP350, the quintessential party bag adds a dash of fun to any evening out.

Self-Portrait offers free shipping for all orders above GBP350 worldwide, so grab a friend to save on the fee if you can’t hit the minimum on your own. Alternatively, you can always head to third-party sites like Mytheresa, which charges directly in SGD. They may not boast as wide a selection as the official store, though.

It’s pretty amazing to see how far the London-based brand by Malaysian-born Han Chong has come, carving a name in today’s competitive fashion industry with his RTW and handbags. Love supporting Asian-led brands? This tiny wonder of the Crescent Bow Micro Bag certainly makes for an excellent choice.
