An integral part of Gucci’s heritage, the bamboo handle is as iconic as it gets for the Italian fashion house.
More recently, they introduced the contemporary Gucci Diana line. It comes with two decorative leather belts designed to maintain the handle’s shape over time. These straps add a fun dimension to the full-leather body, coming in a contrasting shade with GUCCI in gold-tone foil.
You can think of the Gucci Diana as a hybrid design that straddles a handbag and a tote, one that transitions well from day to night. The good news? Two more styles joined the family.
Firstly, the Gucci Diana Small Shoulder Bag (SGD5350) is an east-west style, measuring 25 cm wide and 16 cm high. Its shorter height means that its contents are easily visible, so you don’t have to dig deep to find them.
Aside from dual bamboo handles, it also comes with a detachable and adjustable leather strap, plus an extra chain sling for dressier days.
The second option is the Gucci Diana Mini Tote Bag (SGD3660) designed as a handy vertical grab-and-go style. Significantly smaller at 15.5 cm wide by 19.5 cm high, it opens via a magnetic snap closure to reveal a compact interior perfect for a mobile phone, SLG and lip balm.
Three colours are available for now, in Black, Brown and White with gold-tone hardware.
