There are no rules when it comes to bags. Evident in Bottega Veneta dressing up its iconic Cassette bag with an exciting new tie-dye twist. The interwoven ruched leather heightens the effect further, causing the pale green and dark green hues to 'spread' all over the exterior and shoulder strap in a mishmash manner.
Spotted on the classic size which measures 24.5 cm wide and 15 cm high, the foulard tie-dye leather Cassette retails at SGD5590, slightly higher than classic versions with a similar make. Opening via two magnetic snaps at the edges, the crossbody bag boasts full lambskin bonded lining.
Behind the Cassette lies a deceptively simple-looking brown shopper that some might mistake for the new Bottega Veneta paper carrier. But it’s actually a new-in design called the Brown Bag crafted entirely in leather with a paper-like texture. Call it cheeky or witty, the ‘paper’ shopping bag even folds inward with a wrap-around handle style completing the look.
