Expert artisans at the Italian fashion house create the metallic hardware by hand, so no two ‘fish’ are exactly alike. Hooked onto the supple body by way of dual-knotted (another Bottega Veneta signature) attachments at the sides, the brass-finish sardine doubles up as a structured top handle. Because one fish in the hand is worth two in the sea, right?

The bag itself opens via a magnetic closure to an unlined interior. Measuring 20 cm wide and 12 cm high, it will easily house several essentials for the day or night. The Mini Sardine also comes with extra leather straps to wear across the body, which works nicely with this smaller size.
