According to creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, 'Nothing can be invented but everything can be revisited with fresh eyes.' She shares this with Daniela Puppa (the original designer of the Lady Dior) her thought process for Dior’s Fall-Winter 2022 collection. In essence, her words describe the Lady 95.22, a reworked version of the iconic handbag. While this incarnation features a softer, rounder silhouette, the Lady 95.22 retains several signature elements, such as the Cannage motif. The lucky D-I-O-R charms and dual handles handcrafted in leather and metal also remain.

So what is the story behind the name of the Lady 95.22, you may wonder. Well, symbols (numerical and pictorial) have always played integral roles at the French fashion house, and this is no different. These four digits represent the Lady Dior’s birth in 1995 and its recent rebirth at the Fall-Winter 2022 runway show.

In addition, Dior used a new high-frequency technique to create the Macrocannage motif, thus allowing larger bags to showcase the pattern without compromising on the look. Regardless of size, every Lady 95.22 bag comes with an extra wide leather shoulder strap for hands-free crossbody wear. Speaking of size, the Lady 95.22 comes in small and medium sizes that are priced at SGD9700 and SGD10,500 respectively. Both are launched at Dior boutiques in Singapore, and it is time for you to check out the new lady in town.
