Loewe’s revamped Amazona line comes in a solid range of sizes. Each one caters to the varied needs and desires of fans and lovers of the Spanish fashion brand. Love a petite miniature? The Amazona 16 Square Bag will do the trick. But if you are a firm believer in the bigger, the better, then you might consider this Amazona 44. It holds true potential to become your next favourite carryall.

Here’s why. It comes in an over-the-top size measuring 44.5 cm wide and 27 cm high. This makes it perfect for weekends or even as a carry-on bag for short trips abroad. Modelled after the original Amazona launched in the 1970s, this updated version is slightly boxier. It comes with a shiny Anagram-engraved padlock that latches firmly on the leather patches beneath the dual top handles.

The Amazona 44 is crafted in Anagram jacquard to keep it lightweight. This is a contrast to the full-leather versions from seasons past. Of course, you’ll still find leather elements at the corners, sides and handles. They help give the bag its shape while providing extra resistance to daily wear. Love the little touches that count? Loewe has also added protective metal feet at the base so your bag will never touch the ground.

Aside from carrying it via the top handles, each Amazona 44 also comes with a leather strap. This lets you sling it over the shoulder or across the body. Retailing at SGD5600, there are three exciting colour combinations to pick from. Anthracite/Black, Khaki Green/Tan and Navy/Black all work equally well for the contemporary individual. There’s also a new-in suede/calfskin version if you fancy a nostalgic take.

Whichever you prefer, the Amazona 44 is now available at Loewe Singapore’s online stores. Or drop by the local boutiques in ION Orchard and Marina Bay Sands for a closer look.
