Hands up if you remember the Vertical Book Tote previously released in limited quantities at Dior. Not only did it feature a narrower profile significantly different from the original line of tote bags, but it was also designed to be much slimmer (and more compact), which worked well for a quick day out and about.

Pieces seem to have come and gone with the seasons, but Dior has finally brought back a newish style known as the Mini Dior Book Tote Phone Bag. It’s slightly smaller this time, measuring just 18 cm high and 13.5 cm wide. Still, it’s roomy enough to hold a mobile phone and then some. A compact SLG, lipstick and perhaps a small bottle of hand sanitiser should do the trick, all fitted within this tiny but mighty version of the Mini Book Tote.

Currently available in the beige Mizza embroidery, this handy style is finished with the ‘Christian Dior Paris’ signature in front, plus a blank band on the back to add your initials should you wish to personalise it.

This version is sold together with a matching beige embroidered sling, though you can also add your existing Dior strap for extra personality if you prefer. The Mini Dior Book Tote Phone Bag is also the first size to be fitted with two ring loops at the sides, allowing you to attach the embroidered strap and convert it into a shoulder bag in no time at all.

Priced at SGD3450, the stylish bag can be found at Dior boutiques within ION Orchard, Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Shopping Centre, though it’s advisable to book an in-store appointment to reserve your piece before you head down.
