Bulgari looks set to change the game with its latest selection of handbags that come in raffia and Vienna straw to get you all sorted for the summer season. Forget the classic calf leather or python (commonly found on its Serpenti Forever range), as the Italian fashion house is going all out with this head-turning combination of materials that’s not commonly seen at the Roman jeweller.

Of the four, the Serpenti Forever Jewellery Box (SGD3610) and the Serpenti Forever Bucket Bag (SGD3100) both come with Vienna straw detailing combined with ivory opal calf trimmings. The jewellery box comes in a dainty size that measures 16 cm wide and 13 cm high, complete with iconic snakehead zip pulls inspired by a Bulgari timepiece from the 1960s.

The chic Serpenti Forever Bucket Bag, on the other hand, is a newish silhouette created especially for summer. At 18 cm by 17 cm, this roomy bucket is perfect for keeping daily essentials within the removable satin pouch interior, adding extra flair and a pop of colour while on the go.

The next two include the Serpenti Diamond Blast Crossbody (SGD3610) and Bvlgari Logo Tote (SGD3640), both slightly different thanks to the beige raffia texture and fringe outline that give them a tactile appeal. The flap bag is meant to be carried across the body via the extra shoulder strap, but you can also hold the 20 cm by 14 cm bag via the single top handle if you prefer.

And with most of you planning an overseas trip sometime this year, bigger bags are coming back in fashion, especially for those who love a chic carryall to travel in style. The Bvlgari Logo Tote is their response to this trend, boasting a roomy size measuring 24 cm wide and 21 cm high.

Similar to the bucket bag, this chic tote is also sold with a detachable satin satchel, so you can use it separately if you wish.
